BEST TPM PRACTICE

( TOP 3 AWARDS )

Checklist Implementation
  • The field engineering team will implement a comprehensive checklist during plant visits to assess TPM practices. Points will be assigned based on the significance and impact of each practice on cutter performance.
  • Furthermore, any internal TPM assessments completed by the plant will be assessed to determine the efficacy and thoroughness of the plant’s TPM procedures,
Failure Analysis 
  • Data from the past year will be evaluated to identify instances of machine failure caused by suboptimal TPM practices.
Benefits of Lectra C&P
  • The influence of original Consumables and Parts (C&P) practices will be considered for evaluation as these help measure the optimal cutter performance. The team will evaluate whether the plant is effectively utilizing parts based on prescribed intervals, such as the500-hour mark.

BEST UPTIME

Uptime Collection
  • Uptime information will be gathered from the Lectra Cutting Room dashboard.
Eligibility Criteria
  • To qualify for the Best Uptime award, the Overall Operation Effectiveness (OOE) must be ≥ 75%.
Minimal Interruption
  • Lectra Cutters will be assessed based on the least interruption time.

OEE Calculation 
  • Availability x Performance x Quality.

Data Collection

  • Availability data will be collected from OOE records.
  • Performance will be assessed based on benchmark values for perimeter speed, considering product type.
  • Quality data will be gathered from plant teams, and the achieved Quality range should be shared with supporting evidence.

Operator Team Evaluation

  •  The competency of operator teams will be assessed through the dashboard, considering various criteria:
    1. Cutter Performance
    2. Efficiency
    3. Error Rate
    4. Positioning Time
    5. Idle Time


Daily Maintenance

  • The evaluation process will also consider daily maintenance practices.

MOST IMPROVED

Cutting Room Progress:
  •  To evaluate the most improved cutting room, focus on plants that have adopted Lectra auto-cutters and demonstrated significant progress in achieving their project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the designated project phase period (T-Neo Implementation Project).

Weighted Averages:
  •  Assign a weighted average to each KPI and recognize the plant that attains the highest average with this award.
